Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
Jauvex is made by Reindent. This policy explains what jauvex.ai (the same site is also at jauvex.reindent.com) records, including what the Jauvex apps send to it. For questions, contact us.
In short
- This website itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics, ads or tracking scripts. The launch film loads from YouTube only when you press play.
- Your sessions stay on your computer, where Claude Code, Codex and Grok keep them. What you say to Jauvex is transcribed on your computer.
- From version 1.1.0, Jauvex Personal asks this site for the latest version when it starts and every six hours. We record each of those requests by its IP address, to see who uses the app.
- Feedback you send from the app (an idea, a bug, a question) reaches us only when you say so, with a screenshot or the app's log only if you agree.
What this website records
Every request
Like most web servers, ours keeps a log of each request: the IP address, the time, the method and path (never the part after the "?"), the response status and size, and the user agent that your browser or tool sends. These logs are kept for about two weeks, then deleted.
Installing and downloading Jauvex Personal
When the install command fetches the install script or the Jauvex Personal source, we record the IP address, the time, the user agent and the response status. For the source we also record how much was sent, which version, and whether the download finished.
Jauvex Personal's version check (from version 1.1.0)
The app asks jauvex.reindent.com/api/personal/version for the latest version when it starts and every six hours. We record each request by its IP address and the time, and nothing else: no user agent, no version and no identifier. We use it to see who uses the app.
Jauvex Pro (by invitation)
Jauvex Pro works with an invitation that we give. For Pro we record:
- the invitation's name, the one we gave it when we created it, with every Pro record;
- for installer requests and downloads, including refused ones: the IP address, the time, the user agent, the response status and how much was sent;
- the installer's reports while it installs: that it started, is building, succeeded or failed, with the version, the processor type and a random ID for that run;
- the app's version check when it starts and when it reconnects: a random installation ID, the installed version, the IP address and the time.
The version check sends nothing else: no usage, crash, conversation or workspace data. The Pro installer tells you that it records its status and your IP address. Invitation keys are stored only as one-way fingerprints and are never written to our logs.
We keep the install, download and version-check records until we delete them.
Feedback you send from the app (Jauvex Pro from 1.7.13, Jauvex Personal from 1.7.1)
The app's feedback button, or telling the Jauvex agent that something is broken or that you have an idea, starts a report. The Jauvex agent writes it up and shows it to you, and it is sent only when you say so. A report holds:
- its kind (an idea, feedback, a bug or a question), a title and your description;
- the app (Pro or Personal), its version, your operating system and the app's random installation ID;
- for Jauvex Pro, the invitation's name;
- your email address, only if you give one, used only to answer you about that report;
- a screenshot of the Jauvex window and the app's recent log, only if you agree when the agent asks. The log is cleaned of keys, tokens, email addresses and your home folder's name before it is sent. The screenshot shows whatever is on the Jauvex window at that moment, so check it before you agree.
A report never includes your files, your conversations with your agents, or anything else from your computer, except what shows in a screenshot you agree to send. We use your IP address to limit how many reports can be sent, without storing it with the report; the web server's log of the request is kept as above.
Reports are stored on this website's server, readable only by us, and copied to Reindent's own server, where Reindent's team reads and tracks them to answer you and to improve Jauvex. Reindent's team includes AI agents, so a report's text and attachments may be processed by the AI providers those agents run on (such as Anthropic and OpenAI), under their terms. We keep reports until we delete them. To have yours deleted, contact us with its date and title.
Why we record it
To deliver Jauvex, to keep Pro by invitation, to know whether installs work, to see who uses Jauvex, and to answer and act on the feedback you send.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare: this site runs behind Cloudflare, which handles every request on its way to our server, under its own privacy policy.
- YouTube (Google): the launch film on our home page is a YouTube video. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play. Then the film plays in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and YouTube handles that viewing under Google's privacy policy. Once the film plays, YouTube may set its own cookies or similar storage.
- Amazon Web Services hosts the server.
Your AI tools
Jauvex works with Claude Code, Codex and Grok signed in on your computer with your own accounts. What you send them goes from your computer to Anthropic, OpenAI and xAI under their terms and privacy policies. It does not pass through Reindent.
